Subscribing to RSS removes the need to manually check a website for new content. Instead, a browser constantly monitors the site and informs the user of any updates.

In most modern browsers, subscribing to an RSS is made easy.

For example, in Internet Explorer you can simply click the above link and then choose the option to subscribe. Other browsers may require installing an additional plugin or other steps to be able to subscribe. There are also many non-browser Feed Readers available.
