Project Manager

Our project managers are experienced in organising projects to be delivered within demanding budgets and timescales. They are highly skilled in using their time efficiently, reporting to senior management on the status of projects and highlighting issues and risks at an early stage. They are able to manage staff at all experience levels and with a diverse range of skills.

Unified Communications Specialist

With hands-on commercial experience deploying and maintaining Microsoft Lync-based unified communications for a range of organisations, our product specialists lead the way to delivering high performance, cost effective and adaptable solutions.

Infrastructure Consultant

Infrastructure consultants are able to give high value advice on how to design and maintain hardware and software infrastructure. They have the experience to consult on issues from hardware backup and redundancy to operating system and end user software.

Software Developer (Test Analyst)

Our senior testers are able to take responsibility for creating and executing test strategy and planning, including writing initiation documentation and test scripts. Senior testers take a hands-on approach whilst being experienced enough to be able to provide tasks to their colleagues and give guidance and advice on how to conduct their testing.

Database Administrator

Our database administrators are able to design and maintain databases to fit our clients’ circumstances. They are able to work to fix short term, acute issues, or are available for long term maintenance and enhancements.

Business Analysis

Our business analysts have a wealth of experience working in a range of industries. As such, they are highly competent at quickly digesting and documenting business requirements and proposing solutions. They are experts at communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Solution Architect

Solutions architects are able to take on responsibility for the technical design and documentation of a project. They are also able to act as the senior developer on a project, capable of advising and mentoring less experienced team members.

Software Developer (Programmer)

Using our stringent recruitment scheme and intensive training programme, Dorset Software is able to provide world class programmers, with the ability to quickly adapt to our clients’ projects.

System Engineer

System engineers contribute to teams where knowledge of infrastructure and existing applications is required. They are experts in hardware and software specification as well as setup and ongoing maintenance of systems in demanding and restricted environments in a range of industries.
