Dorset Software took up the challenge to be 'Funny for Money' and raised £300 for Comic Relief this Friday when Poole staff decided a themed fancy dress day would be a cheerful alternative to standard business attire.
An interesting array of 'children's personalities' arrived for a hard day of coding, calling and managing, including double helpings of both Dennis the Menace and Bob the Builder. All the outfits were stunning and it was wonderful to see so many people embracing the fun day wholeheartedly.
Best costume awards were scooped by The Joker and Inspector Gadget at a presentation by Princess Leia and Bananaman!
Event organiser Ellen sported a charming Heidi costume and was delighted with the effort saying: 'Together we managed to raise a total of £184.19 and Dorset Software topped up the amount to make £300. It was a lot of fun and everyone involved has had a really great day.'
Donations raised for Comic Relief go towards lifesaving work in the UK and worldwide. Dorset Software is pleased to be able to combine a morale-boosting day with charitable fundraising.
