Poole-based bespoke software solutions provider, Dorset Software, promotes Sam Story to its Management Committee.
With a comprehensive understanding of the business and his ability at bringing new ideas of working to the company, Sam now takes his place alongside the other senior managers of Dorset Software. Managing Director of Dorset Software, Jonathan Gerson substantiates the decision, “The promotion to the Management Committee reflects Sam’s achievements for the company over the last 4 years.”
In his new role, Sam will oversee implementation of Dorset Software’s strategic business plan from a production point of view. His main focus will be to manage and report on resource utilisation and allocation ensuring that the company has the right resources at the right time with the correct skills, producing work consistently to the highest standard.
With a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Leicester University, Sam joined Dorset Software as an Account Manager. Over the past four years Sam has managed and developed a number of key accounts including Waitrose, Actavis, and Mayne Pharma. He is also responsible for overseeing Dorset Software’s international biological recording and collection management software projects.
