Customisation and Add-in Modules

Recorder is designed to be fully customisable for all types of biological data recording. Many of the data entry and viewing forms are generic; should you prefer forms that match your current paper record cards, please call to discuss your customisation requirements.

For example, add-ins can:
· customise existing screens within the application by adding, modifying or removing controls
· add pages to tab controls in the existing screen
· replace existing screens in part or in whole
· add new screens or dialogues
· add new menu commands and toolbar buttons which could be used to launch any Windows application
· add new spatial reference systems
· add new validation rules
· implement new import methods
· implement new export methods
