Dorset Software offers training on either Dorset Software solutions or third party products.

We can deliver:

Structured Training Courses: These are structured classroom based courses and are suitable for training between five and twenty users per session. All courses are custom designed to meet individual client needs. Dorset Software has delivered structured training courses for a number of clients including Woking Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and the NHSLA.

Training Workshops: With an open and flexible structure, workshops provide a more hands on approach to training. They are particularly effective for training key staff and are designed for up to three users per session. Dorset Software has delivered Training Workshops to clients including Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC), the NHS Litigation Authority and Kent County Council.

Train the Trainer Sessions: At Dorset Software, we are able to train a group of trainers, who are then subsequently able to convey this information to peers or other employees. Trainers normally consist of a cross-section of employees, who possess both the skills and personality to act as the prime agents of system acceptance within the firm. All training material is tailored to meet client requirements and is available for use by the trainers.

Training for IT Staff: We can provide technical training for IT staff in system administration and maintenance. We can also train developers in new development languages.
