Do you have technical experience and a keen interest in business? Would you like to be part of a busy sales and marketing department managing existing projects and developing new business?
At Dorset Software we provide bespoke software solutions to blue-chip clients and are now looking to expand our sales and marketing department with the addition of two Junior Project Managers who are responsible for building and maintaining Dorset Software’s relationships with its clients.
One Junior Project Manager will be based at our Head Office in Poole, whilst the other will be based out of our London office in Covent Garden.
Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the complete software development lifecycle.
- Gathering requirements from prospective and existing clients.
- Developing a technical solution.
- Presenting the solution to the client.
- Overseeing project budgets and timescales ensuring the solution is delivered to the client’s expectations.
- Keeping the client informed during all stages of the project
Skills:
- A degree in maths, science, engineering or computing with at least a 2:1 from a top university
- Well-developed presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a multi-discipline team
- Organised and able to work to tight deadlines
Experience:
At least 2 years experience in a programming or similar technical environment.
